Editorial standards
How Yero News reports, labels, and corrects the record.
What we publish
We prioritize primary sources: government agencies, official calendars, court and corporate filings, peer-reviewed research, and on-the-record interviews. Discovery feeds (events, markets, wire, research, weather, traffic) support coverage; they are labeled separately from edited news stories.
Corrections
Significant errors of fact are corrected promptly. When a story is updated after publication, we retain version history where available. Contact the desk to request a correction: desk@yeronews.com.
Opinion vs news
Opinion and analysis are labeled as such. News reports aim for clear attribution and verifiable claims. Social wire items are secondary leads and should be verified before they drive coverage.
Quality gates
Automated quality checks (sources, originality, media safety, dark-mode UI safety) can block weak drafts from automatic publish. Editors remain responsible for the published record.
Media rights & captions
Hero images and video captions are attributed on the story page when metadata is available (photographer, provider, license). Stock and open-license libraries are preferred for automated packages. For reuse or takedown requests, contact desk@yeronews.com.
